Mr. Baumann has also several other contracts on hand for the coming spring, among them the following: A school house for the city, to be known as Franklin School, situated on the corner of Division and Sedgwick streets, 90 feet by 70 feet 2 inches, four stories bigh, with fourteen class rooms and one large hall, heated by steam and to cost $20,000, and a block of four stores, four stories high, situated at the corner of Clinton and. West Lake streets, in the West Division.

Dedication of the Franklin School, North Division.
The fine new Franklin School building, located on the corner of Division and Sedgwick streets, was dedicated this afternoon with interesting ceremonies. The building takes the place of the old brick structure, which was torn down last fall. It measures 78 by 89 feet, is four stories high, contains thirteen large school rooms, one assembly hall, and two small rooms for reception room and office. It cost complete about $50,000.

The following was the order of exercises this afternoon:
- Reading of Scriptures—Rev. Robt. Collyer.
Prayer—Rev. G. L. Wrenn.
Music—”Banish, O Maiden” —Messrs, Sa-bin, Peabody, Baker and Blackman—(Arion Quartette.)
Delivery of the Keys—By A. W. Tinkham, Esq., Secretary of the Board of Public Works, to L. Bentano, Esq., President of the Board of Education.
Dedicatory Hymn, composed by George Howland.
Address—J. L. Pickard, Esq., Superintendent of Public Schools.
Music—”When o’er Lake and Forest Streaming”-The School Choir.
Poem—The Franklin Restored—J. Mahony, Esq, Principal of the Wells School.
Music—From the Bosom of Ocean I seek Thee—Miss M. T. Schaefer.
Address—Hon. Elliott Anthony.

The new Clarke School on Reuben street, near Van Buren, is nearly completed, and will be dedicated in a week or two.
