Fire on Lake Street.
At ten minutes before six o’clock this morning a fire was discovered in the five-story marble building, No. 78 Lake street. The first floor is occupied by Greensfelder & Rosenthal, wholesale dealers in boots and shoes, who sustain only a nominal damage, and the other four stories are used by Webster & Gage, millinery dealers, who lose about $10,000 from water. The fire originated in the fifth story
from some unknown cause.

The building is owned the by Mr. E. H. Haddock, is damaged to the extent of $2,000, and is fully insured.
