Dr. Bigelow has permanently located at 179 South Clark St., corner of Monroe, to whose advertisement we call the attention of our readers, who may require his services.
The public have been imposed upon, and grossly so, by those styling themselves Specialists. Their publications clearly prove the truth of what Burns, the poet, says: “Some books are lies from end to end,” while their consultations demonstrate the remainder of the rhyme: “And some great lies never penned.”
It is impossible to describe the suffering which disease entails upon man, and it needs no arguing to convince men that, when injudiciously treated, their suffering must be greatly augmented, or result in death, if such treatment be long continued. In the Doctor’s widely extended practice, he has cured thousands of cases where malpractice had entailed months and years of suffering. The venereal virus, when absorbed into the system, is truly astonishing; but the power which a thorough-bred physician has to neutralize the disease and restore to health is more astounding. There is not a question or a doubt existing amongst the medical fraternity that all species of venereal diseases can be cured, and be fully eradicated from the system. But it mast be treated by a scientifically educated physician, more especially one who has devoted his life and study to its treatment. Such a man is Dr. B., and from us he needs no encomiums. Facts in his practice tell the truth. Two years ago he established himself at No. 179 Clark street, and has built up for himself, within that short space of time, a practice which exceeds that of any other physician in the city; while his success is attested by thousands, having never failed to effect a cure. Consult the Doctor, and thereby prevent imposition. His rooms are separate for both ladies and gentlemen, and the strictest confidence is observed with all his patients. If you wish speedy cure and scientific treatment, don’t forget the Doctor’s number, No. 179 South Clark street, corner of Monroe.
