Kimball Hall Dedicated.
Frances Alda (Mrs. Gatti-Casazza) returned last night to Chicago to give a recital serving formally to dedicate Kimball hall the concert room of the new Kimball building at Wabash avenue and Jackson boulevard. It is on the second floor, reached by a handsome stairway from the lobby opening into the boulevard. Mme. Alda’s program involved, as usual, numerous styles of composition, but on this occasion included nothing German-not even a bit by any of the German classical writers. Frank LaForge was her accompanist, and Allen W. Bogen played the new organ, which is part of the halls’ equipment.

KIMBALL HALL BUILDING
Southwest Corner Wabash Avenue and Jackson Boulevard
This beautiful sixteen-story structure, completed in 1917, represents the best in modern steel construction with caisson foundation extending to bed-rock. It is centrally located, being at the intersection of two of the principal thoroughfares of the city. A wide main corridor opens both upon Jackson Boulevard and Wabash Avenue.
Ample windows and a large open light court at the south extending upward from the seventh floor offers desirable office and studio space throughout.
New Kimball Hall, seating five hundred persons, equipped with large three manual pipe organ and grand pianos is considered acoustically. perfect and most desirable for concerts, lectures. etc. The lighting, heating, ventilating of hall and building are of the most approved systems and elevator service equal to any in the country.
