Silver Wedding of Mr. and Mrs. D. B, Shipman—The Guests and the Decorations.
The twenty-fifth anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Shipman, of No. 906 Prairie avenue, occurred last evening. Over five hundred guests were invited, though the invitations were not given to a silver wedding. The parlors were very beautifully decorated, and above am arch between two of these was suspended a large horseshoe of flowers, with the significant dates 1854-1879 woven of roses thereon.
