Coffee Merchant Succumbs to Pneumonia—Funeral Tomorrow from the Family Residence, 97 Rush Street.
William F. McLaughlin died yesterday morning at 9 o’clock of pneumonia. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock from the family residence at 97 Rush street. The funeral will be private and the family request that no flowers be sent. Mr. McLaughlin was born on Oct. 4, 1827, at Clonneybacon, Queens county, Ireland, and came to Chicago at the age of 21. He had been the head of the coffee house of W. F. McLaughlin & Co. for forty years. His widow and three sons, George D., Robert J., and Frederic MeLaughlin, and four daughters, Miss McLaughlin. Mme. Arna McLaughlin, Mrs. Martin D. Hardin, and Mrs. Charles A. Mair, survive him.
